hi! I recently found your blog- and i love it. you have a lot of practical recipes! I have now made this one 2x, and it is DELICIOUS! I too was surprised that the flavoring of just lemon could be so potent. I changed it around a little bit by adding a ton of asparagus, broccoli and spinach, and for a finishing touch, added a sprinkling of parmesan/asiago cheese after cooking, which melted in nicely and I really liked the additional flavor it gave!
While at the store, I was hoping to substitute for whole wheat orzo, but I couldn't find any…have you ever seen that? Anyway, keep up the good work, I love your blog!

That looks so good. I am not very familiar with Orzo, but i love the greek lemon soup and this sounds very similar.

I love orzo – to me it's a cross between rice and pasta. Just love it!
