I’m so sorry for not responding earlier. I got way behind while on vacation. But if it’s not too late, you can definitely use this recipe to frost a 2 layer, 8 inch round cake. I actually just did that this weekend! 🙂 I’m not sure how many cups it makes though, as I never measured it out. Good luck, and sorry again for the delay!

I used a pastry bag and a large icing tip. Just swirl the frosting around the top of the cupcake. I have a video that shows it on my Easter bunny cupcake post if that helps. Good luck! 🙂

This cupcake is super awesome! My 2 and 7 yr old loves them. Even my hubby was tempted to dig in the icing leftovers. I didnt have any lemon or raspberry extract so replace them with juice of lemon n raspberry instead. Still, it tasted soooo gooooood……thumbs up to the recipe!
