Can I omit it from the recipe or should I substitute something else?

I followed the recipe exactly and it took less than 5 min to get it all together. I cooked for about 6 hours and that was perfect. I will definitely be making this a regular dinner at my house!

I did use frozen chicken and it was just fine. My only issues were that it wasn’t juicy enough. But the reasons for this were A) I used 3 big breasts. B) I over cooked it. I set the crockpot up before I go to work so my wife diesnt have to cook, so I started it so it’d have almost 8 hours to cook when 6 probably would have done the trick. If you use 3 big breasts add a half dose of each ingredient or so.

I’m making this recipe tomorrow (3/20/2014) if I have problems I’ll post them otherwise it had gone well.

It was dripping out of the bun. Also, I made the mistake of cooking the chicken for the full 8 hours on low which cause it to be a bit burnt. Next time I will decrease the amount of BBQ sauce that I use, not in half but maybe to just under 1 cup total instead of the full 18 fl. oz. And also, I will cook it for about 6-7 hours on low instead of the full 8 hours. Thanks for the recipe!
