I made it for a bunch of friends on a Saturday night and everyone loved them!

I didn’t have a strainer so i wasn’t able to strain the broth but I was wondering what that would strain out anyway? I boiled it down on the stove, and it was greasy. Would the fat have strained out? My brisket was pre-trimmed.

Still delicious and definitely making it again. Thanks!

Instead of slicing, I pulled the brisket apart in my slow cooker with two forks. Using a slotted spoon, I layered on fresh French rolls. A scoop of sauce with my soup ladle and we were enjoying a fantastic sandwich. To save time and calories, I omitted the cheese, though that sounds yummy too.

Note for couples….the brisket reheated perfectly \ to add to another couple rolls the next day!

It turns out really good! I like the idea of the crusty rolls because it can make softer bread soggy.
