I almost never use a springform pan (I think I’ve made cheesecake twice in my life?) so I have no advice. Did you try it? How did it turn out? If I want something to look pretty and I’m worried about getting it out in one piece, I just serve it in the pan and pretend it’s supposed to be that way. 😉

I may just go ahead and try even before you’ve had a chance to answer. It seems like a good solution to getting it out for presentation’s sake… especially since I’m out of parchment paper!!! Taking to a friend’s house so I’d love it to look pretty in the end too.
