I’m sorry to hear they didn’t turn out well for you. I haven’t had that problem…I’m wondering if maybe the dough rose for too long?

There’s way too much yeast in this recipe. It should only need 2 1/4 TSP of yeast. My bread ended up tasting like it was over proofed

A gentleman a couple of comments above mentioned a quick 15 second reheat in the microwave works well.

If I make these the day before, how can I re hear them the next day? Pop them back in the oven? If so, for how long and what temperature?
