I am at a high altitude so I added a bit more flour and used a half and half combo of the baking soda and baking powder to get a little more rise. They are still soft and chewy.

So glad you liked these! I have no idea why mine were so dark..it’s probably bad photography skills though. I always have trouble with dark things on light surfaces – cookies and brownies end up looking darker than they should!
