This might be the easiest recipe I’ve ever posted on this blog, so no excuses for not trying this one! These slow cooker honey barbecue chicken sandwiches are so simple to throw together and they taste amazing. Mike loves this meal and I find myself turning to it frequently when I’m trying to plan out weekly menus. It’s full of flavor and the meat is nice and tender. Basically you dump everything in the slow cooker, turn it on, and a few hours later you have dinner! Yes, it’s that easy. Can I give you a tip though? The sandwiches taste even better if you serve them on homemade french bread rolls!
3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
18 oz bottle Honey Barbecue Sauce
1/2 cup Italian Salad Dressing
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Place chicken in a slow cooker. Combine the barbecue sauce, Italian dressing, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce and pour over the chicken. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours. Remove the chicken and shred using two forks. Return the chicken to the slow cooker and coat with sauce. Serve on rolls for sandwiches.
