No-Bakes

I love these no-bake cookies, and I’d almost forgotten about them. But this week I was looking for a quick recipe to make to bring to work and the last thing I wanted to do was go to the store. I searched tasty kitchen and this recipe jumped out at me when I realized I already had all the ingredients to make them. And I’m so glad because now I remember how much I like them.

Β The recipe is really quick and easy. You melt half the ingredients together on the stove, boil them for 1 1/2 minutes, mix in the rest of the ingredients, and drop them by the spoonful onto waxed paper. Then let them cool, or if you’re like us, attempt to eat one while they’re all hot and messy – so good! These only take about 10 minutes, create a minimal amount of mess, and taste great. I definitely recommend them πŸ™‚

  1. Thanks for the comment on my blog! To answer your question, the crab cakes do keep pretty well. They also are not TOO expensive to make, but our grocery store usually has the good, lump crabmeat on sale fairly often. Let me know if you try them! And I like your blog!

  2. no bakes are so great when the weather is too hot to cook! yum

  4. Anonymous – So glad you liked them! You are brave to try them with my terrible looking pictures! πŸ™‚

  5. We love this recipe! We make it all the time, but tonight I told my 2 1/2-year-old that we were making “Reindeer Poop Cookies” to make it seem like I am a fun, festive mom. She giggled the entire time. I don’t know what it is about kids and the word “poop,” but it seems to make everything funnier. πŸ™‚
