Margarita Pizza

NOTE: Updated recipe and pictures here:  Margarita Pizza

Last Friday night, by putting in a total of about $4 and 15 minutes, I managed to get the highest recipe rating I’ve ever gotten from my husband. We had an easy version of Margarita Pizza. It really was incredibly easy to make, and I was surprised at how good it turned out. I used an $.87 just add water pizza crust from Betty Crocker, sliced roma tomatoes on sale at meijer, and meijer brand shredded mozzarella cheese, also on sale. Somehow the combination (plus a few other simple ingredients) made a great pizza! I only have the one picture of it because it seemed so simple and easy that I wasn’t even going to post about it. But after we devoured over half the pizza, Mike looked at me and said “you better go take a picture of this right now, because I’m about to give you the highest rating I’ve ever given.” So I took a picture of the mostly eaten pizza and Mike rated it a 4.75! I was shocked. This was so simple, and tasted so good, I might create a weekly Friday night pizza night.

  3. In all fairness, I think anonymous was drunk when he wrote that. But you share some of the blame. Beer bread, margarita pizza… you keep finding ways to bake alcohol into your food.
