Halloween Cupcakes Part 2
I hope you enjoyed Part 1 of the Halloween Cupcakes last week! Now it’s time for some fun new ideas. Once again, these are all pretty simple and kid friendly. And cute! Clearly I am much more interested in cute treats than spooky treats.
These pumpkin patch cupcakes are about as cute as it gets! I used Wilton tip 233 to pipe the grass with green icing and then just stick some of those candy corn pumpkins on top. I wasn’t sure it the end result would be cute or not, but I was really happy with how they turned out. To pipe the grass, just squeeze the icing out gently, lifting slowly until your grass is as long as you want it. Then, stop squeezing and pull the bag away. If you mess up, you can always cover over it with more grass, or just put a pumpkin on top.
These ghost cupcakes are probably the easiest design ever. I used a large round top to pipe the ghost shape on top, then just added some eyes with mini M&M’s.
If you’re not much into cupcake decorating, this might be the cupcake for you since you use melted chocolate to make the decorations. You start by putting some icing on a cupcake, either by piping it or spreading it with a knife. Then, melt some candy melts in the microwave and transfer to a small squeeze bottle. Squeeze your designs onto waxed paper or parchment and paper and let harden. Then simply peel off and add to your cupcake.
Enjoy! And happy decorating
