Asian Pork Linguine
Last night I met up with Jess (Mike’s sister) and Laura (Mike’s cousin) for some group cooking and hanging out time. We picked a new recipe from the most recent Healthy Cooking magazine, each provided a few ingredients, and made ourselves dinner. It was a lot of fun, and the food was great. I didn’t get any great pictures (as you can probably tell) because I was too busy talking and cooking and hanging out, but I did get a couple cute pictures of the two “distractions” to the cooking process:
They made the the experience much more fun, and I must admit the highlight of the evening was when Noah gave me a hug and said “I’ll miss you.” 🙂
The recipe we made was for Asian Pork Linguine. It’s a 30 minute meal and pretty simple to make. We were all a little surprised at the taste when we first tried it, but everyone said it really grew on them, and in the end we all went back for seconds. I think it tasted a little bit like a simple version of pad thai thanks to the peanuty sauce. I’m sure I’ll be making this again because I really liked it and Mike wants to try it. If I remember, maybe I’ll update the picture for one where you can actually see the food.

Welcome! I'm Megan and it's my hope that here you'll find food that has been made with love and recipes that are shared with joy. Thanks for stopping by!
