Reader Favorites in 2013

Top Recipes 2013

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday full of lots of good food.  It’s hard to believe it’s already time for the annual look back at the most popular recipes of the year! I love seeing which recipes ended up being reader favorites, and how they match up with my personal favorites. 🙂 This list is built from google analytics and is based purely on the number of hits each post received.  Did your favorites make the list? If not, I hope you’ll give some of these a try! And here’s to another wonderful year of recipes in 2014 🙂

Strawberry Pizza 10. Strawberry Pizza – I was actually surprised this made the list. We absolutely loved it, but it didn’t seem all that popular when I first posted it. You could make this dessert pizza with any fruit, but strawberry is my personal favorite.
Slow Cooker Shredded Chicken Tacos 9. Slow Cooker Shredded Chicken Tacos with Cilantro and Lime – Slow cooker recipes are always popular, the easier the better! And of course it doesn’t hurt that these tacos taste great as well.
Breakfast Enchiladas 8. Breakfast Enchiladas – I LOVE these. This is easily one of my favorite recipes I posted in 2013. It is my new go-to recipe for a breakfast casserole.
Nutella Swirled Banana Bread 7. Nutella Swirled Banana Bread – Nutella + Banana Bread; it doesn’t get much better than this.
Pizza Dip 6. Pizza Dip – This is an easy favorite to choose. Pizza in dip form? You can’t go wrong with that!
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip 5. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Dip – I’ve noticed that this dip seems to bring about strong reactions from people. Judging from the comments section, people either love it or think it tastes terrible. We loved it. 🙂
Buffalo Ranch Chicken Bites 4. Buffalo Ranch Chicken Bites – These make a great appetizer or light dinner and are easily customizable. But people do seem to love the buffalo and ranch combination!
Thick and Chewy M&M Cookie Bars 3. Thick and Chewy M&M Cookie Bars – I love dessert bars, especially thick and chewy ones, and it seems like you all agree with me.
Peanut Butter Pretzel Bites 2. Peanut Butter Pretzel Bites – These are some of my favorite Christmas treats to make, both cute and delicious.
S'mores Dip And finally, number 1: S’mores Dip! What is it about s’mores that makes people go crazy?  I’m not a s’mores fan, but I do love this dip. Pretty much anytime melted chocolate is involved, it’s a guarantee I’m going to love it.
